Waste Free Tahoe (WFT) was founded to help waste generators reduce the waste we send to landfill, cut operational costs and incorporate sustainability into any company’s business model.

Maria, Founder and CEO of WFT, is an economist and sustainability expert located in California for the last 9+ years.

Maria received a Master's in sustainability management, and later went to work as a waste compliance specialist and a Sustainability Manager across California and the U.S.

She has helped hundreds of locations to reduce their waste, and has worked with dozens of clients helping them create zero waste plans and coming up with innovative tools for their waste reduction goals.
